Neil Cicierega's Mouth Dreams

Neil Cicierega hosted a listening party previewing an early version of his then-unnamed fourth mashup album, Mouth Dreams, later released in September 2020. To accompany the music, Em Lazer-Walker and Reed Kavner created a chaotic interactive art installation collaging together animated GIFs and messages posted real-time by XOXO attendees in a dedicated Slack channel.

Now an XOXO tradition, the festival ended with Baby Ketten Karaoke on stage in our park tent, with cameos by past speakers including Open Mike Eagle, Left at London, Demi Adejuyigbe, and Neil Cicierega.
